Well they don't bite but they sure sink their teeth into the surface. Let's just hope they don't manage to make their way through further. Not as if their bark is worse, as it's not even barking. Just showing how long in the tooth they are.
There's always some sign to tell for a possible option of the opposite to their actions. Like wanting to go bury their head in the sand, only it being more than just their head. Yet, incase there is a possibility, will leave a leg poking out to pull on.

In the forest; laying the next step in a path for oneself. Can be daunting if ever that step goes wrong. Like shaping a piece of marble into the right form. Having to be delicate and chip away by tiny pieces at a time. One harsh wrong move and the whole thing can crack down the middle.
