It's not that much of a delicate operation, what you need to do is quite simple really.

From the look of your face they have already begun their knitting and hoping to wear their best gear again. To get the point across with whom your interests truly lie with, are going about the wrong way to secretly do the tell-tell signs, they just wont listen. Keeping memories of you being their favourite little boy just gives someone that guessing work with how to get their hands around this one.
